How you can get involved
At free@last we have various initiatives in place to help provide an income for ourselves, towards covering the £1250 per day that it costs to run our center.
We really value your donations and financial support too. Every £1 you give helps us to help each child that we work with. But if you can’t donate funds, there are plenty of other ways you can get involved and join our journey today.
Events & Challenges
Find out moreThroughout the year, we put together fun events and fiendish challenges, and we always need volunteers to take part.
Firewalking, mountain climbing, golf days, Battle of the Bands- we love to try new things. If you want to get involved, get in touch or follow our Events Page. If you have an idea and want to name us as your chosen charity, we’d love that, too. Let us know all about it, and we’ll help to evolve and promote your idea.

volunteering
If you want to donate something other than money, we’d love the gift of your time.
Our volunteers do all sorts of activities with our youth groups or with adults from the neighbourhood. Perhaps you’re a great cook, a natural singer, love carpentry or understand computers. Can you drive a minibus, teach forestry skills or knit a scarf? Whatever you do, you’ve got skills, and we’d love to learn them.
If you can commit to a one-off session or a course of weekly activities, please get in touch. We want to hear from you.
charity of choice
Businesses and network groups often choose to support a charity for a year. That might take the form of donations, organising fundraising events or spending time with the charity and beneficiaries.
Choosing free@last as your charity of choice can be mutually beneficial and is a great way of contributing to your CSR or ESG.
We’d love to chat with you about ways we can work together.
kids fund
Kids Fund is a unique club for our supporters who want to set up regular monthly donations. As a member of the Kids Fund, you’ll get regular updates from one of our young people, so that you can see the genuine impact of your money at work. It really is simple to financially support our kids. Join the kid’s fund for £10 per month.

The new centre has plenty of activities for all ages, including soft play for toddlers and axe throwing for the big kids.
