[paragraph extra=””]Our charity Ambassador, Tony Morley, has once gain gathered some of his European Cup winning team to retell the stories, 35 years on from their iconic victory. Once again we were blessed to have 7 of the 1982 European Cup winning team at Chung Ying restaurant on Colmore Row, Birmingham City Centre, taking us for a trip down memory lane. Jack Woodward professionally hosted, as usual, interviewing the players, as well as leading on a Q&A.
This was an exclusive event with only 70 places available, which was a sold out event. The players supporting our event were Tony Morley, Gordon (Sid) Cowans, Ken McNaught, Gary Shaw, Kenny Swain, Andy Blair and Peter Withe.
The event was organised amazingly by Tara Tomes, CEO of East Village PR, and Will Wong, owner of Chung Ying Restaurants. We are very grateful for everyone’s support and efforts in making this an amazing success.
