StarCity Night Time CCTV Controller

Working in partnership with MAN Commercial Protection Ltd, Star City is now looking for a confident, motivated, enthusiastic, CCTV driven Night CCTV Controller.

Candidates must hold a valid CCTV license and have experience working in the security industry for a minimum of one year.

Our Control Room operates 365 days of the year and has access to the latest technologies – making for an exciting and rewarding working environment.

Reporting to the Security Duty Manager, the Duty Controller will be responsible for ensuring venue security and safety by monitoring CCTV and other safety systems. Our Duty Controllers also act as Control Point Coordinators in the event of a fire or emergency related incidents.

The right candidate will be experienced in monitoring CCTV systems and possess the ability to deal confidently and professionally with people at all times. The Duty Controller will be a team player, but also be able to work independently, taking a pro-active approach to work and be able to use initiative. You will be an excellent communicator and be computer literate. You will be efficient in managing small teams and be able to make responsive, dynamic, informed decisions.

Role Responsibility:

• Reports to the Duty Manager
• Leading and Managing the wider Duty Team
• Produce reports and incident logs
• Maintain compliance documentation

Essential Requirements:

• Computer literacy
• SIA CCTV license
• Previous experience in a supervisory security role
• Minimum of a 5-year checkable work history with previous security experience essential
